D&A started at the end of 2002. Design & Art, It all started with sketches of flowers that inspired the production of an unique line of products: art shoes, sandals, handbags and accessories. All products are handmade with all kinds the best of local materials, even fish leather which give the designs an edgy look.
The combination of the unique designs, materials and the products being handmade proved a success and business has flourished in a short period of time.Within just a few years D&A developed from home business to a busy workshop. D&A also has supplied customers from many countries and more requests from come in at a regular basis. Inspiration comes from the designer's home country: versatile Indonesia. Local flowers and butterflies are embroidered in original designs and give the products an ethnic edge. The ARTSHOES are the highlight of the collection, especially designed for women, matter related to Art and all handmade. Each design is unique and all shoes and sandals come in a variety of colors, styles and materials. That D&A is not afraid to experiment and be different with designs is clear for all to see. It all started with embroidered canvas shoes and sandals, from there it went on to embroidery on all kinds of leather, and daring designs of fish leather. Our designs involve wooden heels which can be intricately carved or painted in wide array of colors. Also fitted with environmentally friendly Polyurethan(PU) soles. The handbags are the second line of the collection. They are as uniquely designed as our shoes and also come in a variety of colors, sizes, materials and styles. With their unique decorations in the form of embroidery, beadwork and lace, they provide a fun and fashionable addition to any outfit. D&A products are fashionable and different, appealing to women. In order to satisfy specific demands and tastes we also accept special orders. |
